June 18 - 28: Government Finance Statistics
| CDOT conducted a workshop to further support the Department of Finance (DOF)Corporate Affairs Group (CAG) to apply the appropriate institutional sector classification of 18 monitored Government Owned and Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) and reviewed CAG compilation files to translate GOCC financial statements to GFS. In addition, this mission reviewed progress on improvements to public debt statistics, worked with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to further develop the public sector contribution to the balance sheet approach (BSA) and finalized general government GFS data for loading to IMF databases. In response to a request from the Philippines Tax Academy, a two-day GFS and PSDS training workshop was provided to DOF officials. |
