June 5: IMF Managing Director visited the IMF Capacity Development Office in Thailand (CDOT) The IMF’s Deputy Managing Director, Kenji Okamura, visited Thailand on June 4–5, 2026, highlighting the Fund’s strong partnership with the Thailand.During his visit, Mr. Okamura also visited the IMF Capacity Development Office in Thailand (CDOT), reaffirming the IMF’s commitment to capacity development as a core pillar of engagement with member countries, alongside its support for CDOT’s efforts to deliver high-quality technical assistance and training tailored to countries’ needs. CDOT’s work is made possible through the generous support of the Government of Japan and the Bank of Thailand. |
