Renato Perez, CDOT Advisor,  conducted a technical assistance to the Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) to improve the source data and compilation framework of its balance of payments. The mission initiated the reconciliation of international trade in goods statistics among relevant organizations and recommended BPNG’s Balance of Payments Unit to conduct a comprehensive review of the compilation workbook to correct existing inconsistencies. CDOT also offered online and/or in-person TA to enhance the compilation workbook after the BPU completes its review.
